Wheels locked solid

Just tried taking my front wheels off ... 5 bolts removed and the damn things won't budge. Don't really want to man-handle it too much on the standard jack.

Any tips? Is this a normal thing?

I had a similar thing happen on an offroader. Granted is not the same thing, but I jacked it off a few inches and tapped the wheel ( steel ) off from the inside with a block of wood and a mallet. Maybe try it on the tire instead of the rim :?:

Just spoke to a chap that used to look after my Elise who reckons he can sort it next week.

Sorted. One hydraulic lift and a soft hammer and off they came. Put some anti-corrosion stuff on the back of the alloys to stop it happening again.

Front tyres are completely shot though :(
