Can someone tell me whether there are sensors in the cat that screw into these 'bungs' or whether they need to be blocked off when installed???

Hi Simon,

the NA1 have only 2 oxygen sensors in the header. The NA2 have 4 oxygen sensors and two of them are located in the catalytical converter.
So for the NA1 the test pipes comes with some blind screws, that`s all.

But if you want you can use some temperature sensor etc. with the hole.

From 95 to 97 cars had a similar but different exhaust set up when it came to exhaust muffler. In Japan they had the LEV as well in later years.

Besy way to describe it is staright or curved cats IMHO.

Cheers,

Simon,

IIRC yours is the 3.0 so will need to have the holes plugged. Its the 3.2 that has the 4 sensors

HTH, regards

From 95-96 Model the exhaust and the c. converters profile was changed.

The exhaust for this model got an adapter to fit the new straight converters. If y take off this adapter ( mounted with screws) the exhaust have still the same design like the 91-94 Models and the Gt 003 test pipes should fit also for this models.

By the 97+ Models the exhaust profile was changed again. At this time the adapter is not a separate part at the exhaust. The exhaust flow in tubes have a new design which looks similar to the 95-96 models but without extra adapters. (For this models the GT 003 test pipes can`t be used)

In 2000, the design changed slightly again.
