Dear Oilman,
What is your best recommendation for a engine oil, gearbox oil and brake fluid with the total volume required so that I can use at my next 1991 NSX service. (60,000 miles). What are the cost for each. Any special March discount??

Hi,
For the engine we would suggest 5w-40, Silkolene Pro S and the Motul 300v 5w-40 are the best and most popular and you will need 5ltr.
For the gearbox you will need an MTF, the Amsoil Synthetic MTF is ideal and you will need 2.7ltr.
For brake fluid I would go for either the Motul RBF600 or the Motul Dot5.1
We will be having an offer just like this one in the next week or so.
Regards
Guy.

The only offer I can see (emailed to me) is for free delivery, ie you collect at site.
I have gone through the screens to order 4 * 5L Silkolene and that will work out at £197.40 I should have ordered it above as it would have been £145.98 including delivery.
Silkolene Pro S 5w-40/10w-50 and Pro R 15w-50 1 x 5ltr £39.99
2 x 5ltr £72.99
Is this right ??
Looking forward to Japfest Oil offers!

I just checked the site and 4x5L containers of Pro S 15w-50 costs £158.63 (members price, non-members pay £176.25) plus postage of £9.99. If you have a look at our Japfest 2008 Offer, you can save the postage if you are at Japfest

Are you making a group purchase??? or buying 5 X 5 litres for youself??
RE: I was going to buy 1 X 5 litres for an oil change on the day.
( though a little scary to be travelling back with a plastic container in the boot with the used oil out of the block....)
